SOCH to Host Free Community Seminar on H1N1 Influenza

The community is invited to attend a free informational meeting on H1N1 influenza, also known as the swine flu, to be held at Southern Ocean County Hospital on Tuesday, November 3, 2009 at 6pm. This free informational seminar will be held in Conference Rooms 1 and 2 off the main lobby of the hospital. Presenters will include Edward Niewiadomski, MD, Senior Vice President of Medical Affairs at SOCH and Ricardo A. Barzaga, MD, Infectious Disease Specialist on the SOCH Medical Staff.
Information being presented is designed to help community members be best prepared for the H1N1 flu season. They will learn the best lines of defense against catching the flu, how to help prevent the spread of the flu, and symptoms to look for as well as other related information. The audience will have the opportunity to have their questions about H1N1 answered as well.
